Restoring Broken Relationships

PHILEMON

Relationships are a wonderful part of life. The memories of fun and laughter bring a smile to our faces. But as wonderful as relationships are, relationships are not immune to stresses and strains. Relationships can be damaged and broken.

As the people of God, we have the privileged and powerful opportunity to live lives that are a testimony to saving grace of Jesus Christ. This means, that when we experience the stress and strain of damaged or broken relationships, we are to show the power of the gospel. This of course is not always easy and therefore we are in constant need of our Lord’s grace. How can we take the necessary steps to help us walk the pathway of restoring relationships and even protect the ones we are in?

In Paul’s letter to Philemon, we learn some principles concerning our the people of God are to forgive others. You can download the audio sermons from the Hills Bible Church, we will be working our way through this brief and powerful letter.
